There's also a lot here for even a general fan of the OVAs. Whether or not you like the FUZION system, there's enough here to form the basis of a campaign set in the world of the Knight Sabers.
Talsorian has chosen to go the later route. There are two ways this can go: either you produce shoddy games that rely on the name to sell, or you produce good products that live up to expectations. While they've always had a presence in the mecha gaming market with Mekton, it appears they are now seeking out and licensing various anime series to produce as games. Talsorian's FUZION game system, and marks a new direction for the company.
Dr.Bubble Gum Crisis is the first release to use R. The ADP building is hijacked by rogue Boomers. 
The Knight Sabers upgrade their Hardsuits. Lisa Vanette takes pictures of the Knight Sabers. A strange battlemover starts attacking Genom facilities. On the same night, the chairman of G&B is murdered. USSD satellites were taking under control and attacked Genom Towers all over the world. A series of vampire murders occur throughout MegaTokyo. Gibson and Naomi Anderson are arrested after a long police chase through MegaTokyo in his "customed" Griffon. Six companies compete, Genom and G&B included, but the Kyuusei Industries won. The US Dept of Defense holds a new weapons competition. 2032 - A USSD satellite misfires destroying Aqua City. The events of Bubblegum Crisis: Grand Mal happen. Due to too many faults in the design, the program is halted. A prototype powersuit is developed for close combat fighting. 2031 - Priss, Nene, and Linna are recruited by Sylia to form the Knight Sabers. 2030 - Sylia starts construction of the Hardsuits in secret. 2027 - Boomer Rampages rise Linna's parents are killed in one of those incidents. 2026 - SDPC constructs the orbital station Genaros. 2025 - The Second Great Kanto Earthquake levels most of Tokyo Priss' parents are killed. 2024 - The construction of Genom Towers around the world begins. 
2021 - The Griffon line of sports cars is developed. 2020 - The first Boomer is built by Dr. 2018 - Reika and Irene's parents are killed in a traffic accident and the suspects, Gulf & Bradley (G&B), are found innocent from lack of evidence.
